論領拳

        螳螂拳術乃近三百年來武林同道中所公認之剛柔互濟,長短相等,快而不浮,穩而不滯之最新發現,自王朗氏發明以迄范旭東氏俱大盛於山東各地,近自羅師光玉及楊維新師伯蒞臨滬濱傳技,始漸為後南方人仕所重,迨後羅師更親臨香島傳揚,益為百粵武壇所仰止也。

        吾人素習知之拳術多是祗就拳套鍛練以達成技力上之修養,惟螳螂拳則有其特異之點曰:「領拳」者,即是其所傳授之拳,俱可照原來之動作上,整套作對拆式之領略其作用,以是而使習之者乃有舉一反三之迅速成效,不致學而不知其用之困難矣,譬喻吾人習崩步拳至熟極時可尋一同練者依法演進,使全拳得一瞭然於用途之確切答案,進而互換其位置,更可彼此獲得同樣之成果矣,不但動作上獲得偉大之實效,且可操演成熟後作為一般「串子」式之表演亦美觀而緊湊,進而「躲剛拳」、「插捶」、「十八叟拳」等基本拳均可作如是之練習,迨經此一過程,對其他較高級之拳術可不俟「領」已知大畧之八九矣,以是習螳螂拳而未經「領」者實為其最大之損失,因此余乃先將崩步對領圖解付印成書,俾習斯拳者得確切之認識,未習者亦可得覩(睹)螳螂拳之輪廓,且繼此而將其他各拳續以列出,俾有志研究螳螂拳者得一真面也。

論梅花手
        梅花手屬螳螂拳中三花手之一,三花手即梅花拳、梅花落拳、梅花手之合稱,前二者已有專書行世,黃師於梅花落拳序文中,欲銳意編著梅花手,以公諸武林,俾研習者有以參證,其意甚善也。
        考「梅花手」於螳螂拳中為短拳之一,短拳中如「白猿偷桃」,幾純屬剛手。「柔靈」剛多於柔,其剛柔庶幾參半者,當推梅花手,然此約畧言之耳。若乎得其中肯者,莫不寓剛於柔,寓柔於剛,或者剛柔並濟。就以梅花手言,有觀其出手似軟弱無力,逮櫻其鋒,咸感一股勁力,若左右引針腰斬者,斯寓剛柔也。有上一如驚濤裂岸,亂石穿空,一轉為風平浪靜,海永無波者,若先雙封手揪腿而後反封手者,則寓柔於剛也。其剛柔並濟者,如漏掌軋腿,上下呼應,左右兼顧,無偏頗之弊。而其他各式,均寓法精妙,然辜較言之,此拳雖短,而習之者當懂拳理,察何者為剛手,何者為柔手,剛柔之理明,習之既久,一旦豁然貫通,則不僅於演式時覺一氣呵成,而環中既得,自可以應無窮矣!
        今黃師編斯篇竟,承命寫一文以關及此篇,自揣知見淺陋,武既未能精習,文亦屈詰聱牙,文武之事,豈敢置啄,僅就私見所及,率爾操觚,賢者識其大,不賢者識小,未盡之意,俟乎博識通人之教正。

領二路摘要
除了宗師已出版之領崩步外,其他領拳仍多(見黃文階師兄〈領拳—螳螂拳之特色 〉一文)。不少是第一次在宗師榮休典禮中第一次公開亮相。

領拳—螳螂拳之特色

黃文階(1970年特級畢業,香港漢勛體育會主席)

清初王朗氏創螳螂拳,迄今三百多年歷史,學者遍散南北各地,及海外諸國,為中國國術一大門派。

        螳螂拳之系統組織,乃集合十七家宗法而成,剛柔互濟,長短並用,且快而不浮,穩而不滯;習之愈久,愈覺其奧妙處,弗能宣諸筆墨也。

        螳螂拳之異於其他拳術者,蓋其具有獨特風格──「領拳」是也。憶余初隨 黃師陌技,未知拳之能領,但求盲目練習,故進度緩慢。自習「領崩步」後,始逐漸了解該拳派之獨有風格。余曾請教一位曾隨羅公習技之老前輩,告余曰:「拳領至『躲剛』而止,因羅公只授至此也。」余習至「領躲剛」後,亦以為已窮螳螂滅之領拳矣。豈知近一兩年間,從黃師所學得者計有「插捶」、「白猿出洞」、「白猿偷桃」、「黑虎交叉」、「梅花手」、「螳螂出洞」與「小架式」等。至此余對本門拳技認識更深。抑亦證實螳螂拳每拳套均可「領」也。

        螳螂拳之所以能領,蓋其有完善之組織,招式間皆有聯貫性,非東鱗西爪撮合所成,所以學者練拳時,有一氣呵成之感。

        「領拳」操演嫻熟,不但可如一般串子表演,以欣賞其動作之緊湊,整體之美觀,學此技者且能從中領略拳內每一動作之功用,於搏擊中運用時更可揮洒自如,實對學者裨益不淺也。

        又螳螂拳中有手法十二,即勾、摟、採、掛、刁、進、刁、打、粘、黏、貼、靠。若曾習練「領拳」者,對此等手法之領悟,有舉一反三之妙。領拳時,並須雙方時間互相配合,始能收緊湊之效,故領拳對外五形(手、眼、身、法、步)之運用,亦有顯著之幫助。

        螳螂拳手法繁多,學之易而求精則難,幸有「領拳」為輔,苟能動加操練,必有所得,由此可見領拳之功用大矣。 載《黃漢勛先生服務國術界四十年榮休紀念特刊》頁50。
